Hello, I'm Andy Powell, change agent and founder of Rule 6 Consulting, LLC.  

 

It is my passion to support organizational transformation at both the individual, team, and cultural levels. 

 

Drawing upon my deep background in change management, culture change, and team effectiveness, I work with leaders and organizations that hold a vision of a higher purpose and a belief that business can enable their environment and communities to flourish while achieving best in class financial returns. I am focused on ensuring efforts are aligned with business strategy, organizational systems, and leadership capability.

 

I have over 30 years of organizational development experience with ExxonMobile, BFGoodrich and Pfizer, and have provided enterprise wide solutions in areas such as post-merger/acquisition integration, process improvement, culture change, strategically aligned talent management, executive team effectiveness, and executive coaching. My experience has crossed all functional areas including sales and marketing, manufacturing, operations, research and development, and human resources. Internationally, I have worked in Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, UK, and Hong Kong.

   

A resourceful problem solver with a practical approach, I am focused on sustainable implementation. Having successfully led many complex change efforts while working “on the inside,” I am keenly aware of the importance of scaling and adapting interventions to fit organizational and leader change readiness.

As an executive coach and team coach, I have an Advanced Certification in Team Coaching and a Professional Coaching Certification by the  International Coaching Federation (ICF).  I am also certified through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as a Certified Team Coach and as a Gestalt Professional Coach through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. I hold a BA and MA from Bowling Green State University in Organizational Communication and Psychology.
